We offer classes and events throughout the year to help you understand and explore the full potential of succulents and air plants. These are fun for the whole family! And many are free of cost. What is Penjing?

Penjing is an ancient form of Buddhist meditation that utilizes living plants to make landscapes in pots. These landscapes either recreate places, or imagine scenes - but are designed to facilitate meditation, spiritual development and thereby improve the peace and prosperity of a home or office. They are very similar to Western "fairy gardens." While typically requiring bonsai methods to keep plants healthy in small pots, our penjing use airplants and succulents are naturally suited to indoor environments and smaller pots. All artwork we use in our penjing comes from local artists.
