Seleriana X Streptophylla is bedded upon wild green and purple amethysts collected from dry riverbeds in the areas surrounding the Grand Valley of Colorado by the artist, and accented with fools gold for the "dragon jewel," a symbol of the dragon's treasure: wisdom. This is paired with Argentea Thin, which is bedded upon rose quartz also collected in the wild from near the Grand Valley of Colorado, accented with polished purple amethyst as the dragon jewel.
Evoking the dragon King and his daughter in the Lotus Sutra, these penjing require indirect light and are ideal for altars, or for secular purposes on desks, nightstands and kitchen counters.
